At Pro Breathalyzer, we  offer high quality and demanding breathalysers that are considered most suitable in detecting  blood alcohol content from a given sample of breath. The major purpose behind using these devices is to control alcohol addiction at an individual and professional level.  The major requirements for using a breathalyser are to make the testing process quick and easy  in both  educational institutes and in the corporate sector . Excessive  drinking  can have terrible  consequences for individuals but still the number  of alcohol addicts is rising and drinking is considered to be a fun pastime. This rising trend is also generating threats  to public safety, especially for the drunk drivers themselves. To eradicate this activity from society and diminish these insane activities regulatory bodies are taking measures by introducing  legal policies. The breathalyser  is one of the most preferable instruments to test the alcohol concentration in the breath of UK citizens and is effective in informing  the authorities  about  drunk citizens. This tiny, portable device regularly helps authorities to recognize the drunk people within society and then take action against them.

Pro Breathalyzer supplies high quality and illustrious breathalysers in the United Kingdom which give   precise alcohol testing results.  Currently, alcohol testing is also  essential in the workplace  as business owners  also need to scrutinize alcohol utilisation at work.  To get  the best results from employees and appbreathalyzerropriate???? to achieve targets, every employer tends to use this accurate and non-invasive breathalyser. At certain workplaces, this practice has become mandatory to avoid the   employee   lessening their  potential and loosing their decision making power. The employer needs to prevent his drunk employees from driving and using machinery. Pro Breathalyser is the top  choice amongst consumers  due to our having a vast range of knowledge and proficiency in supplying and maintaining dedicated breathalysers. We have prevaild in this industry for many years, and make an accountable effort to reduce  alcoholic activities all over UK.

To make the acquisition of this portable device more convenient to our clients, our online breathalyzer service in London and all UK is available more swiftly. Now customers can use our  online breathalyser services whereby our products are just a click away. It is very important for everyone to measure their BAC levels using  a correct device. If the device is not working properly then users cannot rely upon the readings and the breathalyser will need to be reapired..  All of our breathalyser repairing services are guaranteed. By getting an exact and accurate BAC reading by  using this device, you  can instantly stop your inclination to drink too much  alcohol. All of the payment methods we use provide a highly secure and reliable way of buying your breathalysers online.

Although there are many negative effects of drinking, and it can badly affect your life in a number of ways, it is still the most preferred pastime and favorite interest of many. As well as this drunk driving has been a threat to public safety for a long time, and to eradicate this insane activity, authorities have formulated binding laws which must be followed by every driver. However, every year many people fail to acknowledge their responsibilities and cause havoc with drinking and driving. Nevertheless, sensible drinking, and drinking within limits is both safe and healthy.

Over the years, there have been many devices to check blood alcohol concentration, but most of them were time consuming and inefficient. The problem was resolved with the invention of the breathalyser; a tiny, portable and reliable apparatus to track alcohol consumption. Because we sell FDA approved and well established brands, we ensure that your personal breathalyser is reporting your BAC accurately. We have an impressive range of breathalysers, so you are at liberty to choose the best one to work for you. Just as there are various models and makes, the price also varies greatly from apparatus to apparatus.

Over the years, we have sold countless breathalysers and we have encouraged many alcoholics to shun this negative activity. With the help of a personal breathalyser, you can quickly look at your BAC level, so it is a method that is most widely used and acknowledged. With only a few small steps to follow, an accurate reading of your BAC can be displayed and you can almost instantly know when to stop drinking.. A breathalyser basically manipulates the absorbed value of alcohol in the lungs by running a diagnosis on the breath. Since alcohol is absorbed not digested, the level in the blood and the breath are the same. So, a reliable tester will give you a reliable reading,  and it is not even difficult to get your hands on one.

Measuring the BAC is a very important matter and, if the device is not working properly, you cannot depend on it for proper performance. Pro Brethalyser is not only an outlet in which to purchase a new breathalyser in London, we also provides a  breathalyser repair service. You can depend on us to get your faulty device repaired and we perform guaranteed refurbishment.

We also sell accessories and calibrate your device in accordance to the ones used by the police force. Online Breathalysers make buying a breathalyser very quick and easy. You can sit at home and order it, while we take it as our responsibility to deliver it you within a day. Availability of modern payment methods is also a plus to facilitate you at Pro Breathalyser. Regulating your own BAC and keeping a check on your children is easy with Pro Breathalyser and the Online Breathalyser is just at a click away..

Among the electronic breathalyzers produced globally, we can determine two main categories:

  • Semiconductor
  • Electrochemical (Fuel Cell)
  • Infrared

Semiconductor breathalyzers

Among the many models of semiconductor breathalyzers available on the market, you will not find any that will provide the accuracy, stability and repeatability of the results for which calibration laboratories or the producer will take full legal responsibility, and under which a person may decide to perform a test drive.

Most people buy these devices and come to the conclusion that things such as peppermint candy can interfere with the readings. This is because semiconductor breathalyzer results are affected by many factors such as the type of food intake, acetone, and many other substances present in the mouth, including peppermint, smoke, tobacco, tea, and coffee, as well as the temperature, humidity, etc. The biggest disadvantage of these devices is that after a few months of use, they may produce measurement errors of several hundred percent! Semiconductor breathalyzers need to be recalibrated much more frequently.

Electrochemical (Fuel Cell) breathalyzers dare often used by the police due to a very small measurement error, which is achieved through a built-in electrochemical sensor. The electrochemical sensor is used for its chemical aspect. The sensor reacts to the alcohol molecules, which are a precisely defined quantity of exhaled air that is sucked by the pump to the sensor in the final stage of blowing. These kind of breathalyzers can be used to test more people at once and do not require frequent recalibration.

Infrared breathalysers are very expensive and usually used in laboratories where very accurate measuring results are needed.

Blood alcohol content (BAC), also called blood alcohol concentration, blood ethanol concentration, or blood alcohol level is most commonly used as a metric of alcohol intoxication for legal or medical purposes.

Blood alcohol content is usually expressed as a percentage of alcohol (generally in the sense of ethanol) in the blood. For instance, a BAC of 0.10 means that 0.10% (one tenth of one percent) of a person's blood, by volume (usually, but in some countries by mass), is alcohol.

Is it true that the amount of alcohol in the breath is the same as in the blood?

Yes. The amount of alcohol in the breath is proportional to the quantity in the blood. Alcohol that is consumed by a person appears after some time (for approximately 40 minutes) in the blood, because it is mostly absorbed by the mouth, throat, stomach, lung, duodenum, and small intestine. Alcohol is not digested. The body converts alcohol into acetaldehyde, then acetic acid and finally into carbon dioxide. As blood passes through the lungs, some alcohol moves through the pulmonary membranes to the air as the alcohol evaporates. The concentration of alcohol in the alveolar air is proportionally the same as the concentration of alcohol in the blood. Therefore, the alcohol in the alveolar air that is exhaled can be measured by devices known colloquially as breathalyser (breathalyzer, alcohol detector, alcotester), which measure alcohol in the breath. Blood alcohol concentration can be estimated by measuring its content in the breath, since the levels for both the blood and exhaled air are constant for a given country.

Is the measurement accuracy of the display the same as the accuracy of the measurement?

No. The accuracy of the measurement display only shows the display used in the device as accurate to one-tenth of the display: 0.1, the display accuracy to one hundredth: 0.01, and the accuracy of the display to one thousandth: 0.001 The accuracy provided is mainly used by the sensor and measuring how it can be achieved. The accuracy can also be represented by the term margin of error.

For example: A police electrochemical breathalyser with a margin of error (accuracy) of +/- 5% displays a precision measuring to one thousandth. When you see an error of 0.800 per thousand +/- 5%, it is 0.040 per mil. This means that the actual concentration of alcohol is in the range of 0.760 to 0.840 ‰. The display used to show the accuraacy to one thousandth does not mean that the breathalyser shows an actual alcoholic strength of 0,001 but only displays the result containing an error of 5% on the display with an accuracy of 0.001.

Semiconductor breathalyser manufacturers generally do not provide the accuracy of measurement or a margin of error because the sensors used in such devices are sensitive to the type of food intake, tobacco smoke, tea, temperature, humidity, and other factors such as peppermint, which means that the breathalysers are not stable or repeatable and depending on the above-mentioned factors may indicate otherwise. Therefore, you should carefully check what the term "accuracy" is defined as and remember that the most accurate handheld breathalysers, which are mainly used by the police, are based on an electrochemical sensor and have a margin of error (accuracy) of +/- 5% and not 0.01 or 0.001.

How long should I wait after drinking alcohol to be able to run the test?

For an accurate measurement, wait approximately 20-40 minutes after the last drink. This time is necessary for the alcohol to penetrate into the blood and to ensure that there is no distortion due to the presence of residual alcohol in the mouth.

What is the average life of an electrochemical sensor?

Electrochemical sensor technology has a decades-long history, during which the products were and continue to be improved upon in the areas of accuracy, stability, and service life. Police breathalysers, which are used for a few years, only require calibration. The average time police breathalysers works is 5 years, where the number of tests is much greater for the number of tests performed by individual users. In practice, this means that the breathalyzer with normal compliance will serve you for many years.

Where can I calibrate the device?

Company Tech Trader Pro, Ltd., is a distributor for Alkohit breathalysers in the UK. Calibration of equipment must be carried out by Tech Trader Pro, Ltd.

What do BrAC and BAC mean?

BrAC (Breath Alcohol Concentration) is the concentration of alcohol in the breath and is expressed in units: mg / L, μg/100mL. BAC (Blood Alcohol Concentration) is the concentration of alcohol in the blood and is expressed in units of: ‰,%, g / L, mg / mL, g/100mL, or mg/100ml.

How is the alcohol concentration of mg / L converted into BAC?

Breathalysers can display the results in different units (‰, mg / L, g / L,%, μg/100mL, mg / mL, g/100mL, or mg/100ml). They are usually calibrated to ‰, mg / L or g / L depending on which country it is sold in. Please note that different countries have different conversion factors from BAC to BrAC and vice versa, so before you buy any breathalyser make sure that the manufacturer has calibrated it for the proper value for your country. For Example: A breathalyser shows a result of 0.4 mg / L (a designation of BrAC, the alcohol content in the breath).

To convert to ‰ BAC: - In Poland - 0.4 * 2.100 = 0.840 ‰ - In Italy - 0.4 * 2.300 = 0.920 ‰ - In Austria - 0.4 * 2.000 = 0.800 ‰ As you can see, the conversions of 2.000, 2.100 and 2.300 are different. Therefore, you should keep in mind that the device purchased was properly calibrated for the selected country, as poor use of the calculator already imposes a measurement error of 15% (0.800 ‰ - ‰ 0.920). At your request, the breathalyser can be calibrated to any unit of your choosing for the appropriate conversion value for your country.

Can I drive if I drank alcohol the day before?

There is no definite answer to this question. It is entirely possible that the previous day‘s alcohol may still be at a dose higher than what is allowed in your country (see limits for countries). Your well-being does not prove that you can safely drive a car. It depends on many factors, including the amount of alcohol consumed, gender, time that has passed since the last alcohol consumption, body weight, etc. The only way is to check the level of alcohol concentration in the body by an electrochemical professional breathalyser test.

Will drinking tea, taking a shower or brushing my teeth reduce the amount of alcohol in the breath?

It is not possible to reduce the alcohol concentration using the above methods. The amount of alcohol, which "breaks" up within the body in one hour, is always the same. This means that if in the first hour after drinking alcohol, the body released 7mg from the blood in the fifth hour, this dose will still be the same. Also, sleep does not affect the acceleration of the process of elimination of alcohol from the body, because during sleep all operations are slowed down, including metabolism.

Hangover - a bad mood caused by overconsumption of alcohol. The most common symptoms of a hangover include headache, nausea, pessimism, lack of appetite, vomiting, physical weakness, red eyes and dizziness. The main cause of hangovers is acetaldehyde–a toxic substance produced in the liver in the metabolism of alcohol. As many as 80% of people who consume alcohol have had a hangover at least once, and 20% of students have a hangover weekly. An intake of alcohol of 100 ml to 400 ml results in loss of water from the body, which is manifested by a persistent thirst. The amount of calories in alcohol is about 100 kcal per 500 ml.

How to avoid a hangover:

  • Consume fatty food to prolong the digestion process and thus slow the absorption of alcohol into the blood.
  • Take some vitamin B complex and vitamin C.
  • Drink a glass of whole milk, which will help slow down the absorption of alcohol into the blood and protect the stomach from irritation.
  • Drink as much water and fruit juices as possible during the consumption of alcohol.
  • Do not drink carbonated beverages.
  • Do not drink cheap red wine, whiskey, or rum, which contain the highest amount of methanol—a toxin that causes the terrible feeling the following day.
  • Never mix different types of alcohol.
  • Do not smoke cigarettes.

What to do next:

Eat eggs

Helps reduce the feeling of a hangover due to the presence ofcysteine found in eggs, which will help combat the alcohol toxins.

Eat fruits (bananas, kiwi, apples), vegetables (carrots)

Potassium supplements can help alleviate hangover symptoms.

Eat a spoonful of honey

Complements the sugar and potassium levels in the blood.

Drink energy drinks

Provides glucose.

Drink plenty of water

Cleanses the body of toxins, and supplements water shortage.

Drink as much fruit juice

A vitamin supplement which will help cleanse the body of toxins.

Eat brown bread with jam, honey or pasta

Complements sugar levels.

Drink tomato juice with lemon

WHelps in the faster metabolism of alcohol.

Take a bath

You'll feel better; your skin will breathe better and release toxins.

We also recommend:

  • • Going out for a walk in fresh air
  • • Eating chicken soup, raw sauerkraut or yogurt
  • • Taking some vitamin B complex and vitamin C

  • Do not drink coffee the following day, as coffee is a diuretic. It does not supply the necessary water to the body.
  • Do not drink alcohol on the following day, even in very small quantities, as it will only prolong overall sobriety.
  • As your metabolism slows down, so does the elimination of alcohol from the body.
  • Do not take painkillers before bed (if you must, take it after you wake up).

  • A lethal dose of alcohol is about 4 per mille. Record was 12.3 per mille.
  • Detoxification in a hospital consists of venous glucose and mineral salts.
  • Most methanol (the most harmful alcohol) is found in "cheap" wine.
  • Alcohol should not be mixed with soda, fruit juice only or non-carbonated water. Alcohol has a relatively large amount of calories–about 7 calories per gram of alcohol, but they are called empty calories as they do not affect weight gain.
  • 90% of the alcohol is eliminated in the liver–it is chemically modified in the body by enzymes and excreted as CO2 + H20. The remaining 10% is excreted through sweat, urine and exhaled in the breath.
    • The breathalyser must be used 20-30 minutes after the last consumption of any alcohol, smoking or eating.
    • You should not use the breathalyser in windy places.
    • You must use a high quality alkaline battery. A weak battery can affect the results displayed.
    • Do not blow cigarette smoke, food or drinks remains into the breathalyser.
    • Use and hold the breathalyser in the recommended temperature range only.
    • Do not forget to recalibrate the breathalyser after 6-12 months of use.
    • Remove the battery from the breathalyser if you are not planning on using your device for an extended period of time.
    • Do not drink and drive.

Failure to use the breathalyser as recommended can result in faulty readings or even damage the sensor.
